Watermusic
The Water Music Installation Series.
My inspiration was the music of the grand old masters such as Handel and Mendelson and all the others that created music larger than life in several parts. I had envisioned this installed in a concert hall setting illustrating the music playing while I painted.
The reflective shapes and symbols floating on the surface of the blue water represent the notes playing in symphonies that disappear into thin air as each new note begins.
Just like reflections do as a gust of wind arrives.
